Guess Who's Back... Back Again.

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve blogged. Aaaaand I feel like blogging again. I don’t even know how it’s possible to have a Tumblarity higher than 0 since I haven’t been taking action here.

Anyway. So a lot has happened since the last time I blogged. I won’t get into details but the highlight is that Mama’s dream finally came true. She and PapaBear are running their own Filipino restaurant! Great business so far and I can see it getting even better in the future. So with that being said, I now have two jobs. Two jobs equals more money, honey. The last time I had a comma in my bank account was after the second paycheck of my very first job at Ohana. Then it happened again after four years on Friday. Ca-ching ca-ching bling bling bling.
Another highlight is that I am going to Newwww Yoooooork! Concrete Jungle where dreams are made of with NatashaFierce and Lor. So far we’re the only ones that book our ticket so we’ll see who else decides to make it official.
Downside though of my update is that I didn’t get into the BSN Program.. again! But I’m gunna keep POSITIVE and believe that I will get in someday. I’ve come too far in my academic career to change my major. Why would I want to change it if nursing is what I want to do right?! I have very loving and supportive family&friends telling me not to give up. Just gotta pick myself up and try again.
YamaObama left for Hawaii last Friday and he’s the most positive person I’ve ever met. If you meet him, you’ll eventually have the “Yama Talk”. You’ll know what that is once/if he starts that conversation with you. I’m so proud of him. It hasn’t even been a week since he moved there and he already got himself a job and registered for classes in the University of Hawaii. He’s grown so much!

Pretty much that’s it. I’ve been working full time at the restaurant and part-time at the ‘Bux and I haven’t had much time to hang out with my friends.. so my friends come to me (: Love love love them!

The Holidays is just around the corner and I have yet to go Christmas shopping. I have more than enough cash money, but I’ve decided to wait until next Friday to start causing damage to my account. All for the people I love. Yay I can’t wait for Christmas and New Year’s and New York and Hawaii in the Summer. Ok getting too far again. Aaaaand it’s getting late. Gotta be up in the morning. Goodnight!

Post-Vegas

Ahhhhh I had the best birthday weekend in Vegas!

I’m so so so so so happy that everything went through successfully! Just like I imagined and more (: It’s a great advantage being a girl in Vegas especially on your birthday. The ladies got into the clubs for freeeeee and for me being the birthday girl, I didn’t have to pay for ANY of my drinks<3

I kept my suite location a secret until the day of my birthday. I ended up getting a 2-bedroom suite at the Bellagio!

Here’s a little timeline/breakdown of how my weekend looked like:

• Left town around 1030
• Arrived in Vegas around 230
• Checked in.
• I was supposed to have a view of the Rio. Lady at the front desk told me it’s an additional $250 to have the view of the Strip and Dancing Water. Hotel upgraded me for FREE to have a view of the Dancing Water. Holla!
• Chilled in the sweet Suite for HOURS.
• Got food around 9ish.
• Met up with everyone at the hotel and got ready to go to PT’s since I didn’t want to go out to the clubs.
• Got super huuuuwasted at PT’s. Threw up threw up threw up.
• Next morning we all went out for Sushi On Rainbow.
• Shopped with YamaObama at TownSquare so he could have something to wear for Tryst.
• More of SD arrived!
• Got dolled up for Tryst.
• Thanks to Julian for getting everyone (minus my Bro&Yama :( ) into the club for FREE without waiting in line.
• Drank drank drank. Danced danced danced.
• Got super drunk again. Thanks to Brian and Godffrey for taking care of me.
• Checked out of the suite :(
• Ate at Maple Tree.

• Checked in at the next hotel. DEF staying there next time I’m in Vegas. Free breakfast every morning and free drinks from 530-730 every day?! Yes, please!!
• Got ready for XS. Again, ladies got in for free. Good thing I talked to the Bouncer. Sorry to the guys since you had to pay :(
• More dancing and drinking.
• Checked out.
• Went to South Point for Football Sunday. Was supposed to eat at the M Buffet but we changed our minds so I’m definitely gunna hit that up next time.
• Drove back home :(

Then I went to the Chargers game at the Q thanks to Brian! Definitely a birthday to remember even though the Chargers lost :(

I have video footage of the suite and other people have pictures so I’m gunna collect all of them and make something out of it. Can’t wait to share (:

Best Birthday Ever!

I want to thank everyone again for greeting me on my birthday! It definitely made me feel special (: I feel like such a brat because I got the top two things I was saving for (Vegas out of the picture)!! My family got me this 13” MacBook Pro<3 and my best friend, Brian, got me tickets to the Chargers vs. Broncos game aka my very first NFL game (not counting pre-season). I really didn’t mean for anyone to spend anything on my birthday. I just want/ed everyone to be there to celebrate! That’s why their stay in Vegas is all taken care of (: Had to do some damage to my credit card and pick up extra extra shifts to make that happen, and it’ll all be worth it!

Ahhhhh, I’m finally legal! It felt so weird ordering drinks. I can finally hang with the big kids now.

Almost Almost Almost!

My 21st birthday is in approximately 25 hours!! I have been waiting foreverrrrrrr for this day to come and for those of you who know me and don’t know how excited I am, then I don’t know what’s wrong with you. I’m so so so glad I never got a fake I.D. because my birthday definitely wouldn’t be the same if I knew the ropes before being legal. So, the 21+ scene will be completely new to me which makes it even more fun! I’m glad a lot of people who told me they would make it ARE going to make it to Vegas. Even though I can’t wait for the celebrationS, I hope I’m not too sad when it’s over. I’m super ready though.. I hope (;

Money, Money.

A few days ago, one of my best friends and I were talking about how much singers, actors, supermodels, pro athletes, etc get paid; how they get paid millions. We came to the conclusion that firefighters’ and doctors’ income should be switched with those of famous people since jobs dealing with lives are real jobs. You don’t have to go to school for years to walk on the runway, pose for a picture, sing and perform on stage, but you have to go to school for years to, for example, draw blood. You don’t hear on the news every day that this firefighter saved this person’s life or this doctor saved this person’s life, but you hear in the news worldwide that this famous person has a sex tape out or posed nude -_-

Don’t get me wrong, I know singers, actors, and athletes work really really hard, too, but if the pay of those who go to school for a career aren’t as high as those who make it big on the big screen, etc, at least give these people more recognition nowadays.
